About

CASTOR is a nomadic platform for the presentation of contemporary art, focusing on bridging gaps between diverse artistic fields within Belgium. The curatorial collective consists of Daniel De Decker, Karel Op ‘t Eynde, and Camille Van Meenen.

Mission

By bringing together cultural organizations and artistic practices that operate across linguistic and regional borders within Belgium and beyond, CASTOR aims to play a connecting role in the artistic landscape. In response to the fragmentation of the art field along geographical, cultural, and institutional lines, CASTOR creates spaces for encounter and dialogue. This ambition translates into the presentation of duo exhibitions that bring together artists from different artistic contexts and with diverging approaches. The platform builds a network that invites artists and partners to collaborate on shared projects.
